GIORGIA ROCCHETTI
Co-founder of Rome and Italy Group in 2007, Giorgia is a planner and organized person by nature
Giorgia loves to get involved in every detail of events and enjoys seeing them come to life after months of preparation! She has planned well over a hundred small to very large weddings all around Italy, and she is now focusing on all Weddings in Rome area, and southern part of Italy.
She is accustom to walking into new environments, with new people and making an event happen perfectly despite any unforeseen challenges using her calm-under-pressure personality to help clients, brides and grooms have a fantastic day without worry. She is industrious, remembers every detail large and small, and thinks of ways to fix problems before they arise.
Giorgia lives in Rome with her sister, and their lovely dog Bruce, and when not in the office, she can be found dining with friends, or shopping!
WHAT DOES SHE LIKE ABOUT BEING A WEDDING PLANNER: I love getting to know interesting and genuine people. It is a magical thing when two people decide to commit to being on this journey together. A wedding is a celebration of this moment and if planned well, it will linger for the rest of their lives. The same can be said for all special events! Seeing a project through to completion is highly rewarding – it is like no other job!

Virginia is going onto her 8th season with
Rome and Italy Group
From day one, Virginia has been a large asset to the team and our clients. She is compassionate, calm and logical under pressure. She brings a unique perspective thanks to her passion, and problem solving attitude. She’s been in tourism industry for 10 years before approaching the amazing world of Weddings, and she’s now responsible for all events in Tuscany, and northern Italy.
She likes to blend technical and organizational aspects with a good dose of creativity, and she loves to plan unique weddings, where bride and groom will be real protagonists. She loves to take care of every details, in order to create the perfect event, and gives her special touch to every moment in order to make them unique.
She lives in Florence, and her hobbies are photography and dance, and during her free time she loves to hiking in the countryside and dining with friends.
WHAT DOES SHE LIKE ABOUT BEING A WEDDING PLANNER: My favorite moment of a wedding is right before bride & groom walk down the aisle! In that exact moment I fell that all my efforts and all time spent on the planning of that specific event, are fully rewarded by adrenaline and positive energy in the air!
